That was a close one!

Well, I realized that we hadn't gotten our April edition of the Rebel Review. So I decided to get online and read it. Little did I know that it was an April Fool's edition and fell for all of it. Some of the articles were a bit strange but the two that affected me the most were "Franklin Introduces School Uniforms" and "Longer Fridays?". The staff of the Rebel Review thought it would be funny to say all of that and more. The first 'scary' article said that the boy's uniforms would consist of a maroon blazer, a tie, khaki pants and a white polo shirt with an option of khaki shorts. Girl's uniforms would consist of a maroon and white plaid skirt, a maroon and white polo, and white knee socks. With no option of pants or shorts. After reading this, I of course freaked out and made it my Facebook(c) status. I got a lot of hits and after I finished reading the issue of the Rebel Review it turned out to be a HUGE April Fool's joke. The longer Fridays article said that because of late starts, there would be two hours added onto our Fridays.

This week has been pretty nice. I decided to give up soda. Which is a huge step forward for me. I am addicted to Dr. Pepper...therefore my weakness...oh, how I miss it already.

On Friday night, I went to the fair/carnival/Main street festival at Downtown Franklin. I went with a group of friends and stayed out late. The rides sucked but being with friends was worth it! Sorry, no pictures this time!

On Saturday, my dad ran the Music City 1/2 Marathon. He ran for a straight 2 hours and 21 seconds. I'm going to run it next year with him and maybe Amy. After, we ate at Noshville Delicatessen in Green Hills. Very good by the way!

We had tornado warnings and watches throughout Saturday. So that meant that AJ's soccer game was cancelled. After the huge first storm passed, we walked around Downtown looking at the few set-up shops that were open.

I had to babysit later that night, the kids were fantastic. We watched "Planet 51", an animated kids movie about humans attacking aliens...ironic?

Today, I went to church. It was good today. Then my mom, brother and I ate at Micky Roo's  for lunch. Then I met two friends at the carnival again for the third day in a row. It was fun!

Well, that's all for tonight. School in the morning. Which means late start...
